# About AI Notes

AI Notes is an Australian clinical documentation app owned by Black Health Intelligence Pty Ltd (ABN 23 693 026 112). It is designed around clinician-led review of draft notes, supplementary documents and consultation records.

In-person, video and phone-on-speaker consultations use the browser microphone. Transcription and note writing are processed in Australia, with a labelled last resort outside Australia; see the privacy policy for providers.

The intended purpose is documentation assistance. Generated outputs require clinician review, and the actual functions and intended use determine regulatory obligations. Describing the product as a documentation aid does not certify its medical-device classification.

Clinical records are stored in a Sydney database. Processing locations, retention and training terms for transcription, AI and delivery providers need separate verification for the deployed accounts.

The clinician plan is A$99 a month, GST included, billed monthly, with a 14-day trial. Checkout requires a card to activate the trial. Existing practice portal connections are retained; a standalone portal is a future proposal. Professional updates (official updates and CPD course search, powered by Abe) are built in at no extra cost.
